I am a very disciplined and goal driven runner. I am really successful during this pandemic because it's giving me a chance to play around with some various challenges. Used to do a 30-day concern wherever I went at least a 5K each and every day and it proved to be a 120-mile month. My next problem is 7 days straight of seven miles each day.

These kind of issues are maintaining me inspired and difficult me at exactly the same time. I have already started to create objectives for 2021 so I won't be ending anytime soon!"

Ta Trecia Davis, 47, of Pickerington, is co-ambassador of Dark Women Work! Columbus Chapter. She has been running for five decades and has done four marathons and sixteen 1/2 marathons, including Columbus twice.

"Prior to the pandemic strike, I was foundation education for my big race of the entire year (TCS) New York City Marathon. The shutdown and the pandemic was included with a lot of strain and anxieties. COVID-19 needed the life span of my small nephew and my excellent friend's parents all within a few days apart. It was destructive and mentally difficult, understanding I couldn't be there for my enjoy ones. So for weeks, I applied excuses for perhaps not running. My coach encouraged me to get back to working to help control strain and keep the immunity system in check.

Being a motivator, encourager, and person who appears to stimulate others, I acquired back to doing what I like to do. It began with 100 miles for monthly that rapidly converted into performing a run streak. My 2020 goals have transformed, it's about survival while empowering the dark community to become healthier. We know this virus is having a major impact within my community. Operating is not canceled, nor is our ability to improve the operating community. That is our time to savor life, because it is a BLESSING to perform!"
